Woodbridge Group Is Now Woodbridge International

NEW HAVEN, CT — (Marketwire) — 01/04/12 — With more closings of cross-border deals and a steady increase in new international mandates, Woodbridge Group has changed its name to Woodbridge International to better reflect its international reach and cross-border transaction activity. Woodbridge International will continue to serve middle-market clients in North America, as well as those throughout Latin America, Europe, China and India.

“It-s an exciting time for us,” said Robert M. Koenig, president of Woodbridge International. “We are seeing strong demand in several of the foreign markets we-ve entered over the past six years. We are winning new clients overseas and many of the deals we closed in 2011 involved foreign-based companies.”

Specializing in middle-market M&A transactions valued at $5 million to $200 million, Woodbridge-s expansion overseas began in 2006 with the launching of the firm-s European office in the Netherlands. Since then, Woodbridge International has opened offices in South America, Central America, and Mexico — and has completed transactions involving companies in Mexico, China, Europe and Japan.

“We-re looking forward to robust middle-market activity in 2012 and are expecting to close even more cross-border deals this year than we did in 2011,” said Koenig.

Woodbridge Group is an international, M&A firm headquartered in New Haven, CT. The firm serves clients from its 8 North American offices and locations in the Netherlands, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Honduras.
