Yamaha V-Max to Star in the New Ghost Rider Movie

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM — (Marketwire) — 02/14/12 — Yamaha 200bhp V-Max will be the latest two wheeled star to feature in the new Ghost Rider movie which is set to be released late February.

Despite bidding a sad farewell to the custom Harley-Davidson which starred in the original film, Swinton Bikes, the UK-s leading retailer of , is delighted the combusting anti hero, Johnny Blaze (Nicholas Cage) will be riding the Yamaha V-Max.

Blaze-s Yamaha V-Max has been designed to look charred and burnt to give the effect he has just emerged from hell. The prop bike was recently on display for lucky fans in San Diego at the Comic Con exhibition with the caption -he rides again-.

Due to the design of the Yamaha V-Max, bike stunts had to be performed with a disguised Kawasaki KX motorcross bike.

Any motorcyclists venturing onto the continent this summer can visit key locations from the film as it was shot in Cappadocia, Turkey.

Anthony Aronin, Head of Swinton Bikes said, “It-s fantastic to see such a high profile muscle bike in a Hollywood movie, the bike fits the anti hero perfectly. Nicholas Cage must remember to check his policy if he wishes to ride with his tyres on fire this could be a burn when trying to make a claim.”

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will hit UK cinemas in 3D on February 17.
