CALGARY, ALBERTA — (Marketwire) — 07/13/12 — BMO Bank of Montreal invites customers and members of the community to celebrate the grand opening of its new full-service Chinook branch in Calgary tomorrow, Saturday, July 14, 2012. The relocated branch is now at 65th Avenue and Macleod Trail Southwest.
“We-re excited to be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede,” said Mike Suzuki, vice-president, Alberta South, BMO Bank of Montreal. “The bank-s ties to the Calgary Stampede are long and remarkable. We-ve been the banker to the Calgary Exhibition since 1899 when lands were christened at Victoria Park. And BMO continued as the official banker in 1912 when the first rodeo took place and it became the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede.”
The new open-concept Chinook branch offers customers extended banking hours seven days a week and is designed to provide a great banking experience through a variety of financial services and conveniences:
“We are committed to providing every one of our customers with the best banking experience at our new location,” said Teri Savoie, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal. “Our customers can be sure they will be met by a knowledgeable professional who will help them make sense of money matters, so they can confidently make the right decisions with their money.”
