WINDSOR, ONTARIO — (Marketwired) — 05/31/13 — BMO Financial Group-s donation of $2.5 million to the University of Windsor played a big role in the building of the new Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation, named after the BMO Capital Markets Vice-Chair and University of Windsor Chancellor, Hon. Ed Lumley, PC. The new $112 million home for the Faculty of Engineering, which celebrates its grand opening today, provides the University of Windsor with a world-class hub for innovation.
The facility also features the BMO Collaborative Learning Forum, made possible by the a $2.5 million gift from BMO. The 350-seat flexible classroom includes state-of-the-art audio and video technology that sets a new benchmark for the teaching and learning experience.
