MONTREAL, QUEBEC — (Marketwired) — 07/17/13 — New Look Eyewear Inc. (TSX: BCI) (“New Look”) announced today a major reorganization and expansion of its state-of-the-art lens laboratory, warehouse and distribution centre located in Ville St. Laurent (Quebec), a borough of Montreal.
Martial Gagne, President of New look noted that: “During 2012, New Look acquired ownership of the commercial building housing its state-of-the-art laboratory, warehouse and distribution centre and thereby acquired additional space. With this additional space, we are upgrading our supply capability and capacity to meet the needs of an expanding network of stores, currently 76 in Quebec and Ontario, and also new product activities”.
Antoine Amiel, Vice-Chairman of New Look stated that: “The expansion plan will be implemented over the next two quarters. Once completed, available capacity will have doubled. The modular plans will also permit further capacity expansion in the future”.
