THORNHILL, ONTARIO — (Marketwire) — 07/19/11 — The Glen Shields Sun Devils 2000 girls soccer team is celebrating its recent win as BMO Team of the Week and kicking off its contention for BMO Team of the Week 2011 Champion at the BMO Bank of Montreal branch in Thornhill-s Promenade Mall.
“The Glen Shields Sun Devils have achieved success on and off the field through strong discipline, effort and passion. These girls are truly deserving of their BMO Team of the Week title and we look forward to celebrating their latest achievement at our Promenade branch this week,” said Curtis Scragg, District Vice-President, GTA North, BMO Bank of Montreal.
BMO will provide the team with team track suits and a team party. The Bank will also donate $500 in the Sun Devils- name to their chosen charity, SickKids Foundation. The foundation raises funds for the SickKids hospital. It is the largest charitable funder of children-s health research in Canada.
