NagraID Security-s unique touch keypad provides for smartphone-like feel and ease of use
Enhanced security for Card Not Present (CNP) environments
NagraID Security, a Kudelski Group (SIX: KUD.S) company, will present the Visa CodeSure Matrix Display Card at Cartes & Identification 2011 in Paris. Earlier this year, Visa Europe introduced this card, which incorporates a new fully customizable high-resolution dot matrix flexible LCD that supports local languages and non-Roman character sets. NagraID Security is proud to be the manufacturer of this card and provides the public an opportunity to have hands-on experience with this exciting new product during this three-day event.
The CodeSure Matrix Display Card introduces NagraID Security-s new dot matrix display that delivers a resolution of 48×8 pixels, which overcomes the limitations of segment LCD. This stunning new LCD enables the display of localized messages and other graphical symbols to deliver a more intuitive and meaningful user experience.
The card is built around NagraID Security-s banking and government grade EAL5+ secure element chip to provide a very high level of security. The integrated NagraID Security-s unique Touch keypad provides smartphone-like feel for the most comfortable and easy to use interface yet. With this keypad, functionalities such as card PIN protection, generation of one-time passwords and challenge response remote authentication, are possible without requiring a separate smartcard reader.
“At this year-s edition of Cartes and Identification, we will showcase the world-s most advanced display cards on our booth #4J 076, including the first public hands-on experience of the CodeSure Matrix Display Card,” said Cyril Lalo, CEO of NagraID Security. “You also do not want to miss our engaging keynote about the applications and deployments case studies of display card technology.” This presentation will be held on Tuesday the 15th at 11am in conference room 5.
“Thanks to close collaboration and excellent communication with Visa and the technological expertise of my Innovation Team, this highly sophisticated product was developed and delivered in a record time frame,” said Philippe Guillaud, EVP and CTO of NagraID Security.
“The CodeSure Matrix Display Card demonstrates Visa-s commitment to adopt cutting-edge technologies to enhance transaction security and efficiency. With the fully customizable dot matrix display, we offer a product that meets the needs of an expansive client base,” said Riten Gohil, Business Lead for CodeSure at Visa Europe.
With the CodeSure Matrix Display Card, NagraID Security reinforces its position as the world leader in display card technology and manufacturing. The card is available immediately and is already being trialed through a variety of projects throughout Europe in preparation for full-scale deployment.
