Helios High Yield Fund: Special Dividend Declaration

NEW YORK, NEW YORK — (Marketwire) — 12/13/11 — Helios High Yield Fund (NYSE: HHY) (the “Fund”) today announced that its Board of Trustees declared a special dividend of $0.04 per share, payable on December 29, 2011 to shareholders of record on December 28, 2011. The ex-dividend date is December 23, 2011. In order to be compliant with federal tax requirements, the special dividend will be paid from the Fund-s undistributed net investment income.

Dividends may include net investment income, capital gains and/or return of capital.
