MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM — (Marketwire) — 01/22/12 — Swinton is welcoming the news that from Monday 23rd January motorcyclists will be permanently permitted to use bus lanes in central London.
The retailer is reminding motorcyclists that they can now ride in the majority of the capitals red routes without being penalised.
The new regulation will see a reduction in CO2 emissions and traffic congestion, however, Swinton, who provide for their customers, is offering some useful tips for motorcyclists venturing into The Capital-s bus lanes for the first time;
Anthony Aronin, Head of Swinton Bikes said, “While this is great news for motorcyclists they do need to take extra care when travelling in a bus lane. Although the TfL trials have shown that traffic congestion and CO2 emissions were reduced there was a slight increase in motorcycle collisions so it is vital that motorcyclists always have the correct motorbike insurance to cover them in case of an accident.”
