Dimon Returns as CEO of the Year

NEW YORK, NY — (Marketwire) — 12/08/11 — JPMorgan Chase chief executive Jamie Dimon tops Institutional Investor-s third annual All-America Executive Team for second year in a row.

For a second consecutive year, James (Jamie) Dimon of JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hailed as the best chief executive officer in the U.S., according to participants in the 2012 All-America Executive Team survey, Institutional Investor-s third annual ranking of the nation-s best CEOs, CFOs, investor-relations professionals and IR companies.

National Oilwell Varco-s Clay Williams captures CFO of the Year honors, while John Sweeney of Sirona Dental Systems is the IR Professional of the Year, survey respondents say. II asked buy- and sell-side analysts to identify the best executives among the U.S. companies they cover, and to rate those companies on a range of qualities, including access to senior management and corporate social responsibility. Survey results reflect the opinions of nearly 1,350 analysts and investment professionals at more than 600 buy-side firms, and some 830 sell-side analysts from about 150 institutions.

JPMorgan Chase is the top vote-getter among companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange — for a second straight year — while Intel Corp. is the most highly lauded among Nasdaq-listed companies. Google also repeats as the Best Company at Corporate Social Responsibility. The winners will be honored at a special awards dinner to be held March 1 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York.

Other members of the All-America Executive Team, including Caterpillar CEO Douglas Oberhelman, Enterprise Products Partners CEO Michael Creel, United Technologies CFO Gregory Hayes, H.J. Heinz CFO Arthur Winkleblack, Procter & Gamble CFO Jon Moeller, and Coca-Cola CFO Gary Fayard, will be profiled in the December/January issue of Institutional Investor.
