CALGARY, ALBERTA — (Marketwire) — 07/09/12 — BMO Bank of Montreal and the Calgary Stampede are corralling the community to celebrate 100 years of history together with the annual BMO Kids- Day, happening Wednesday, July 11.
Kicking off BMO Kids- Day, Robert Hayes, Senior Vice-President, Prairies, BMO Bank of Montreal, will join over 175 BMO employees for a pancake breakfast – with more than 25,000 meals are expected to be served.
“We-re very pleased to have more than 300 community volunteers here today,” said Don Waldorf, BMO Kids- Day, Committee Chair. “BMO Kids- Day is a highly anticipated family-focused event and one of the reasons why people continue to enjoy the Calgary Stampede year after year.”
BMO Kids- Day highlights include:
The pancake breakfast and the show all happen at the Grandstand. Admission is free before 9 a.m. for kids under 12 and accompanying adults. The show kicks off with a Freestyle Soccer performance at 7:50 a.m. All other events take place at the BMO-s Kid Zone, located next to the Agriculture Building. The popular life-sized board game, Loonies & Lassos, is once again featured in the BMO Kids- Zone – where every participant gets a prize!
